Where to go?

There's been a lot of discussion in the circles about where to go after the undead uprising happens. Tops on the list have been military bases, schools, prisons, and armories. Pretty much anywhere except the designated rescue stations-- we all know those will be death traps.

So, what's wrong with the list above? Simply put, they're well known. In the crisis, these places will all be overrun with masses of people, just like the rescue stations. One infected person slips by, and bam, your refuge becomes an undead buffet. What you need is a place that is easily defensible, and not the first choice of the masses.

I found an ideal place, and I'm going to share it with you. Your local Food Bank distribution center. For those of you that aren't aware of what a food bank is, let me briefly explain. The food bank takes donations from individuals and corporations then distributes them to the needy. And once the zombies rise up, there's no one needier than the human race!

To scout out your local food bank, you're going to need to volunteer. This is a good thing overall, as you will be helping keep needy families fed, and you're going to be able to scout out some grade-A prime zombie survival locations.

I'm making an assumption that your food bank is set up like our food bank. We have a couple of distribution centers, but the one that we're interested in is the one that takes in the big corporate donations. In our case, this is a large warehouse set-up.

More, when I have time... stay tuned.
